The FPL’s 12 division teams have been decided, and now a cash prize pool of at least $8,000 for Season 1 has been announced.
No word on whether the money was from corporate sponsors or crowdfunding- we have reached out to the Female Pro League for information.

Currently the FPL is attempting to crowdfund an additional $20,000.
As one Twitter user pointed out, the money is nice- especially because the teams didn’t know about it before signing up to play:
