Over the weekend, the ANZ region held its relegation tournament for Stage 1 of the Call of Duty World League. The tournament pitted non-league/amateur teams against the bottom 4 teams from the regular CWL season.
After struggling to win maps throughout Stage 1 of the CWL, Exile5 continued to falter on LAN, and they are now the first team to drop out of the League. Exile5 were the final team to qualify for Stage 1 in the ANZ region after managing to win in the online qualifier matches. Meanwhile, new pro team Incept eSports will be taking their place in the league on the back of their fine performance against Exile5 in the Relegation tournament.
