The Call of Duty World League and ESL League Operations manager (@Small) released information about the Relegation tournament for the North American Call of Duty World League.
March 26th- The tournament will be played online, and will feature the top 16 non-World League teams based on CWL points earned throughout Stage 1 in online and LAN tournaments. Four groups of four teams will play in a round robin format.
March 27th- The top two teams will then advance to the 8 team single elimination bracket.
Single elimination bracket format:
- Quarter Final – Match 1 – Group A: First Place vs Group D: Second Place
- Quarter Final – Match 2 – Group C: First Place vs Group B: Second Place
- Quarter Final – Match 3 – Group B: First Place vs Group C: Second Place
- Quarter Final – Match 4 – Group D: First Place vs Group A: Second Place

The top four teams after Sunday’s matches advance to the LAN tournament on Friday, April 1st at ESL Studios in California. Each of the AM teams will compete in a Best of 7 match against one of the bottom four pro teams.
The winner of each match will earn their spot in Stage 2 of the Call of Duty World League.
- Match 1 – Highest Seed Pro Division Team vs 4th Place Challenge Division Team
- Match 2 – Second Highest Seed Pro Division Team vs 3rd Place Challenge Division Team
- Match 3 – Third Highest Seed Pro Division Team vs 2nd Place Challenge Division Team
- Match 4 – Fourth Highest Seed Pro Division Team vs 1st Place Challenge Division Team
The Stage 1 NA Finals will start on Saturday, April 2nd and run through Sunday, April 3rd, at ESL Studios in Burbank, California. The tournament will be a best of 7, single elimination format.
