It’s just the North American region left for the next two weeks of Call of Duty World League action, and there’s still a lot to play for as teams fight to avoid having to compete in the relegation tournament.
As of tonight, we know 5 teams that have qualified for the NA Stage 1 Finals:
OpTic Gaming (17-2)
FaZe Clan (13-6)
Rise Nation (13-6)
eLevate (12-7)
Team EnVyUs (11-8)
3 more teams will eventually join them to decide the Stage 1 winners.
Tonight we also met the first relegated team: Dream Team (4-15). dT struggled all season long, and after tonight’s loss, their win against OpTic Gaming during Week 3 seems like a long way away. dT will have to fight for their spot in the NA Call of Duty World League in a S1 Relegation Tournament against top AM teams that have accumulated CWL points through the Challenge Division events.
