The playoffs for the League of Legends Spring Split are happening all weekend long, as teams face off in a battle for Championship points and eventually a place the World Championships in September.

We’re back at it again with another semifinal match live blog. I am Joe, and I’ll be with you through any highs and lows in this best of five series. A 9-9 record was all this star-studded TSM roster could muster during the regular season, and the team will need to be at peak performance if they are going to knock out playoff favourites Immortals, who only lost once during the regular season split, finishing with an impressive 17-1 record.

This is how the playoff picture looks so far. The winner of TSM vs Immortals will face CLG in the final, the loser will face Liquid.

Immortals go Baron and get the smite off to secure it. TSM try to fight them as they’re low from Baron but TSM get cleaned up. 4-0 team fight for IMT. This game could be over already.

Now they catch out Huni! Immortals have lost 3 of their members here after securing Baron buff.

Hauntzer manages to latch onto Pobelter and are able to out team fight IMT. They clean up the fight 4 for 2. TSM are well back into this game!

Doublelift did a lot of work in that last team fight for TSM! Ever since the Baron buff TSM have gone 7-1 in kills.

Huni is a glass cannon and gets destroyed early in this team fight! Hauntzer is also too tanky, IMT can’t destory him. TSM win another team fight 3-0 and take Baron.

TSM take Baron but are still behind on gold.

Hauntzer zones out 4 members of IMT. They can’t get through. TSM gets kills and push onto pick up the Baron.

IMT make a great play to try and force a base race, they take down TSM’s inhib. TSM start collapsing on them though and Reignover miss a flash body slam. Game over, TSM take Game One.

That team comp didn’t work for IMT – by late game they couldn’t get through Hauntzer, at all.

TSM have now won their last 4 games in the playoffs. Confidence.

Will Huni go for an ADC top again? Hopefully not. He should go for something he can carry on, like Ekko and Ryze.

Zed gets picked by Bjergsen, and Pobelter pulls out the Urgot! Another exciting pick and ban phase.

Urgot roams top and takes out the bot lane duo, huge for the Urgot!

What a start! Sven flashes Reignovers body slam and he gets the kill onto Adrian.

IMT catch YellowStar and Doublelift. Bjergsen then solos Pobelter in mid as Urgot’s ult is down.

Sven takes down Reignover – Sven is now 3 levels ahead of him! TSM 2K gold in front.

15 minute update. TSM nearly 5k gold up.

Sven and Bjergsen take down Pobelter.

Bjergsen nearly takes down WildTurtle – he survives with 4hp!

Reignover body slams Svenskeren but they can’t get the kill and Bjergsen picks up some easy kills – they push and get Baron, taking down Huni who was trying to steal it in the process. This game is more or less over.

Reignover goes down ,again. Svenskeren is on fire this game, 6/0/4. They go on to take 2 inhibs and recall.

Bjergsen takes down Huni under turret and TSM push in to win. They’re now on their way to their 7th consecutive final!

Ekko not picked or banned…again. Even when Maokai is blind picked, they don’t pick Ekko. So confusing. Lets see how this goes.

No lane swaps, standard 2v2 lanes.

Early game going well for IMT, all lanes winning so far giving them a 0.3K gold advantage.

A 4 man dive top sees IMT grab first blood on YellowStar, they are then able to get a kill onto Doublelift. Excellent start.

IMT try and catch Doublelift and YellowStar top but the duo manage to survive. IMT do take top tower though.

IMT try and dive a Maokai bot, and it doesn’t work out. They even waste a TP from Pobelter and get nothing from it.

IMT’s grouping to try and take the mid tower.

TSM take the Dragon. Still 2k gold behind.

TSM catch out IMT in their jungle, taking down 2 members! Huni, who appears on tilt, re-engages for no reason after everyone is dead and costs him his life. He also wasted flash. TSM right back in this now.

Sven now catch out Pobelter.

TSM win a fight in mid 4-2! Adrian gets chunked out so early in this fight and then Pobelter goes down too. Huni puts up a valiant effort in the end but its not enough – they dont seem to have enough damage.

IMT are able to catch out DoubleLift and YellowStar bottom, losing Pobelter in the process though.

TSM take Dragon.

30-minute update. 6-9 kills and IMT 1k gold up.

A beautiful team fight sees TSM ace IMT down bot. It looked close when IMT managed to take down Hauntzer but TSM’s backline went untouched.

TSM take the 4th Dragon.

A huge team fight! Doublelift gets taken out so early, IMT think it’ll be their fight! Huni tp’s in and lays down damage but it’s Bjergsen that gets going. TSM take down 2 members in Pobelter and Reignover, but WildTurtle snipes down Svenskeren as TSM retreat. 2-2 in that fight.

Doublelift can’t get caught out like that again in the next team fight.

TSM take down 2 members of IMT! A deep ward turret means that Hauntzer can teleport in and catches Immortals off guard. They push on to get Baron and will be looking to siege turrets.

IMT try and fight TSM off 5th dragon…but TSM secure it! They push on to take down 4 members of IMT and win the series 3-0! They’ll now face CLG next week in the final! Immortals will face Team Liquid for 3rd place.
