The 32 countries participating in this year’s Overwatch World Cup have been announced, and now the teams will move on to the World Cup qualifying tournaments.
As we told you back in March, the Overwatch World Cup Committee began tracking the skill ratings of the top 100 players from every country. The resulting average rating determined the rank for each country. The top 32 countries will choose the players to represent them at the World Cup qualifiers over the summer.

The top two finishers from the group qualification stages will move on to the Overwatch World Cup Finals at BlizzCon 2017 (November 3-4).
