SK Gaming are the Season 3 champions of the Esports Championship Series (ECS) after defeating FaZe Clan in a close Grand Finals. SK Gaming’s CS:GO team took home the grand prize of $250,000 USD at the tournament in London’s Wembley Arena.
The Grand Finals went to overtime in the third game between SK Gaming and FaZe with SK narrowly taking the win.
Information about Season 5 (a year from now) was also made available at the event. According to Michele Attisani, Chief Business Officer and Co-Founder of FACEIT, Season 5’s final will also be held at Wembley:
“FACEIT is a UK-based company so London is special to us and it’s always a privilege to have the best teams in the world competing on our home turf. With season 3 being such a success it just seems right to bring season 5 back to Wembley next year for our community and we hope to make it a bigger and better experience for everyone.”
