International teams had quite a presence in this tournament, with 2 of the top four teams coming from Europe, and two Australian teams taking Top 8 positions. CWL Anaheim was also the debut of Japanese side Rush Gaming, who finished inside of the Top 80 teams- not a small feat considering over 150 teams were in attendance, and most were from North America.
The winners of CWL Seattle, Rise Nation repeated their victory in California at CWL Anaheim over the weekend. EU powerhouse Red Reserve forced Rise to two Grand Finals matches, where the champions prevailed, winning 1 – 3, 3 – 1. This is Rise Nation’s third Call of Duty: WWII championship.
