It’s the reveal trailer that launched a thousand hot takes on Twitter, YouTube voice overs, and even our own ESS review– Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has ruffled some feathers, but today pros and prominent members of the Call of Duty competitive community are giving the game a vote of confidence.
It is unknown whether Infinity Ward or some other entity prompted players to tweet about the game today, but several say they played the game last week, and offer their 140-characters or less support:
Veteran CoD Champion Teepee had some of his usual polite praise…
Got some time with the new IW last week, @InfinityWard seem to be making some very good steps forward for CoD E-sports.
Nice to see 🙂

While Call of Duty World League caster Revan was a bit stronger in his sentiments…
I got to play Infinite Warfare MP last week. They’re all over competitive, players are going to feel at home after BO3 Thanks @InfinityWard

As usual, caster Maven‘s praise was unrestrained…
Went to @InfinityWard and got MP hands-on with Infinite Warfare. I loved what I saw, felt great – the MP team is absolutely on track.

While Dream Team pro player Chino had good vibes when meeting with the development team at Infinity Ward…
I can’t say much about it but devs loved watching us play and were really interested in our feedback, it’s going to be another great year ?
