This week, ELEAGUE announced it will hold its second MajorCounter-Strike: Global Offensive Championship in January of 2018. The ELEAGUE Major: Boston will happen at Boston University’s Agganis Arena Friday through Sunday, January 26th through the 28th and features a one million dollar (USD) prize pool. The first ELEAGUE Major was held in 2017 at the historic Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.
Sixteen CS:GO teams will compete for the title of The ELEAGUE Major: Boston Champions.
The top eight finishers from the previous Major – PGL Major Champion Gambit Esports, previous ELEAGUE Major Champion Astralis, Immortals, Virtus.pro, FNATIC, SK Gaming, BIG and Team North – will be invited to compete. The bottom eight finishers will compete for eight Challenger spots with the top Minor Championship finishers. Qualifying begins January 12th, and the Group Stage will run from the 19th-22nd at Turner Studios in Atlanta.
The Minor Championships determine the eight teams (two each from the Americas, Asia, Europe and CIS regions) participating in the ELEAGUE Major Qualifier. The Minors will begin with the Asia and CIS tournaments, held Thursday-Sunday, Oct. 26-29, in Seoul, South Korea and Bucharest, Romania. Minors action will continue with tournaments in Europe and the Americas, Thursday-Sunday, November 2nd-5th, in Bucharest and Toronto.

Overwatch Contenders Season One Playoffs
Blizzard Arena Los Angeles will open its doors to the public for the first time this weekend for the Overwatch Contenders Season One Playoffs.
After seven weeks of intense regular-season competition, only four teams from each region remain to compete for their share of USD $100,000 per region in the Overwatch Contenders Season One Playoffs on October 7–8.
The teams will first face each other in a best-of-five, with the winners advancing to their regional finals, which will be a best-of-seven.

TEKKEN World Finals 2017
For the first time in its 20+ year franchise history, the TEKKEN World Finals will be held outside of Japan. Fans will watch as a new TEKKEN World Champion is crowned on November 12, 2017 after sixteen of the best fighters in the world duke it out at City View at Metreon in San Francisco, California.
The action kicks off at 12:00pm PST for the first double elimination rounds which will culminate in a final match to take home the $50,000 grand prize.
